This site is incredibly difficult for beginners, I've spent 45 minutes just trying to navigate my way to posting anything

Hello 1st off if I misunderstood the rules about posting. Please direct me in the right direction..

So my sis gave me a bunch of change for helping her with some things. An i found a penny with some (im assumimg) errors. I am curious to know is it common to find a coin of such? An I know it's value couldnt be no more then face value but curious to see.. It is missing the L from Liberty as well as looks like some is masking the 1 and missing the last digit in the date.. (See photos) I am posting several angles and lighting to hopefully understand it

By 1970, the IBM 360 Mainframe computer was (only) the size of a small size passenger car at college and punch cards were used. By that time, hand calculators performed simple math functions. Before that, we engineering students used a slide rule.. ... still have that antique! Sorry about the reminiscing... back to the subject.

I cannot figure out how to post a thread with pictures. Been a while since I've been here. Looks like the format has changed.
