1979-D gas station penny roll.

Hello, i got a roll of pennys at a gas station here in Arkansas. 60,79,84/84D and others in amazing shape. Problem on the 79 penny is a spot of die missing on the reverse top A. Can someone give me an idea of how much it hurts the value?

It will hurt the value about 50%

Now worth 1/2 Cent

 

Ouch. What a loss i paid 2 times that for it.

 

look at Abe's face on the 81? That looks like i made that 1/2 cent back

 

That is a carbon spot, And makes the coin worth 1¢.

 

Hey Kyle H. , I noticed you forgot to put your name on 2 of those last photos.

You need to go back and redo those two. Make sure you use proper lighting and technique. When you're prompted to choose thumbnail or full size, be sure and choose full size.
