Just incredible, @rrdenarius . I always enjoy your eclectic collection focusing on the Roman Republic... you know that is a big historical era for me!

The weights are very cool too. Well done.

Any of the Aes series are fascinating to me. Very interesting, and pretty difficult to pull them all together. Well done.

    Here is a Frog. :)

I confess that my purchase of this particular coin was partially motivated by juvenile humour. Do you see it? :woot:

Are you talking about the glasses and long nose?

Great coins @rrdenarius! I really like the denarii depicting the voting scene. Really interesting from a historical perspective. I wish you a great 2020!

Crawford (and several other RR authors) has a table of control symbols. My guess is you have #13. He calls #13 a Sword / ?. You can not see the obverse symbol on yours, but the reverse looks right. Often the obverse & reverse were related.

Outstanding acquisitions this past year! I like the semis with the Pegasus, the wheel aes grave, the voting scene coins, the Juno Sospita denarii -- heck, I like 'em all!

Hope 2020 is a good year. May your collection expand!

Thanks rrden - I actually have Crawford and agree that's the pair I have. (Hard to see how the reverse symbol is related to a sword. Maybe a sword belt?)

I like the mysterious ones! 'Ancient Aliens' could really go to town on 91...

Oh man, you have many very nice coins there @rrdenarius , but I love those super thick coins, that aes grave and semis all the way for me! I'd love to get my hands on those and fondle them.

Sorry if that sounded creepy :mask: ...but it's true! :woot:
