Is this 67 potentially worth anything? Dare I even mention the elusive “spitting eagle”.

Honestly, I can't tell if it is a stain or a crack. Try taking the photo from directly overhead. Photos taken at an angle have a tendency to hide things.

There are other things I’m curious about.

-Is the flaw I’ve heard described on other years coming off of the beak and across the wing just common or irrelevant?

    -Lettering issues ?
-image transfer at the mid and lower neck area on obverse?

I still can't tell. It could just be a stain.

If it is legitimate... what is it called?

There are a couple of things you have to understand about some of the anomalies people find when searching through their coins.
    1) People like to give them funky names to help sell them: Spitting Eagle, Crackhead, Speared Buffalo, Extra Claw, etc. They shouldn't add any value to the coins, but you can't tell that to a bidiot.
    2) There is a thing called pareidolia. Some people are trying so hard to find errors that they begin to imagine things. It's like looking at a cloud and seeing a dog or the kid in the Cheetos ad seeing a beluga whale.

I don't see a letter transfer on the obverse. If so, it would most likely be a clash, but bear in mind that the bust is the deepest part of the obverse die and this is extremely unlikely.

The technical term would be "Interior Die Break" but most often it is just called a die chip.

OMG, unbelieveable, that's worth a whopping 25 cents.

Also, I'm sure it's just the picture itself but it looks oval. But the "oval-ness" is probably your camera closeness and just image distortion.

If it is oval, then you should take it to a bank and excahange it for one that isn't damaged like that. In which case it's worth less then 25 cents lol

It appears oval because the photo was taken at a slight angle as evidenced by the fact that you can see the reeded edge on the right side of the obverse.

Be on the lookout for "Lincoln's Purse".

It's damaged. You can see the cut in the metal from the hit it took.
