Because I guessed the grade right! Still dosen't mean I know anything, but it sure beats guessing wrong! hya:
If you can consistently tell the difference between a 66 and a 67 from a photograph, you're in the wrong line of business.
It all depends on the photographs Mike, but your not the first person to tell me that either. All the same, I'll stick to the business I am in, as I am even better at that And spock - your putting words in my mouth. Naughty, naughty :hammer:
GD, Can you please tell us why you feel the coin is an MS66? What about the coin makes it worthy of that grade? ...Just trying to learn. Respectfully, -tcore-
The coin is pretty well struck, has excellent luster and is pretty clean (few marks) overall and has great eye appeal. If it were not for the dark spots on the obv (Indian's thigh) it probably would have graded 67. But with those spots I feel it is limited to 66. Yeah I know, you're gonna ask what spots. I got to look at a better pic than you did - HERE
well there arent any dark spots on the thigh of the coin ( i have it in hand ) but unfortunately there is one right next to the indians face ( as if he was starring at a cloud) now i personally think that make the coin a unique design worth 76 money but i wont get any buyers at that price
hunstman, if I made you feel bad with my comment, then I totally apologise for that, as that was not my intention in the least. Just a joke, but I guess it got taken wrong, and I do apologize for it entirely man. Phoenix
