My dad works out of state and went to get quarters from the hotel for his laundry, and got like, 3 rolls of quarters. All three were 2019 Lowell quarters.... But, he used them. Nearly all of them. only 15 left when I got home. He just told me now and I took a look. All P. I can't help but think that theres a 2019-W Lowell out there in the Holiday Inn in Maryland... I might have lost my chance for a W. These rolls don't make it to Maine. On another note, I have fifteen 2019-P's to trade away... Anyone want them?
Well I can tell you that here in Maryland, we have quite a few 2019P Quarters It's the Denver ones that are hard to find.
Well for now, I am out of the quarter game after finding all of the West Points I needed. Perhaps when 2020 rolls around and I start searching for the years releases we can work out a trade
Don't get too worried about missing out. It seems that most Lowell W 's were found in AMP rolls. That's where I found mine. Look for die chips on the back of your Lowell's Especially on the towers on back. For some reason they are loaded with them. I'm wondering why the side view of your stack of quarters make them look like silver. I can't detect the usually copper color that shows on the edges. edit. Check the fronts for an "Earring" on George Washington too.
Bear, I noticed they look like silver too. Evan, I'll trade you the super rare Lowell 'Black Edition" I found for your stack
I think its the angle and lighting. Also, this time I didn't put them on the black cloth like I usually do. I think it's the reflection of the wood desk
Just remember it's a hobby that you enjoy, not an investment. Try taking him to a coin shop or a show just to spend some time together. Best wishes
I didn’t know you were from Maine. There’s some decent shows around up here like Devens mass and Manchester and Nashua NH as well as a couple I’m Maine. I haven’t been going lately but hopefully I will again soon let me know if you want to ride along if it’s ok with your parents plus there’s quite a few good coin dealers up here. I’ve yet to see a 2019 quarter of any type here not that I’m really looking. Always willing to help a young collector especially a fellow Mainer
