I hope the shot wheat cent was'nt a 1909 S VDB. I'm in Michigan also, i have'nt done much metal detecting(White Eagle detector). I'm not really sure of areas legal to detect. Any hotspots for detecting in Michigan that are legal? The high price of fuel makes driving very far to detect pretty costly.
I dug a 4 foot post hole in Michigan the other day. The water was already running into the bottom of the hole the further i dug. I did'nt check if it was sea water though! LOL!
Cubit;" any of various ancient units of length based on the length of the forearm from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger and usually equal to about 18 inches (46 centimeters) " I measured that distance on myself for future reference in case of no tape measure. I'm 19 1/4", so everyones cubit varies considerably.
That Chinise coin looks like a Vault Protector to me...but my knowledge of foreign conis is extremely limited! RickieB
I would rather find natural gas. I've heard some of the royalties on some private land leased for gas runs $40,000 a month!
