The doubling on a 1939 Rev of 40 Jefferson Nickel "Doubled Monticello" is very pronounced (especially the "o"), even in the lower grades (see photo below). Your coin seems like it might have some doubling but I don't think it is the famous DDR. Yours looks like a regular well circulated 1939 Jefferson Nickel which unfortunately doesn't have much value.
Even though it's 80 years old, they made 120 million of them. The 39-D and 39-S are very good coins, but the Philly is basically a nickel when it is worn. However, there are some varieties. 1939 with the reverse of 1938, and 1939 with the reverse of 1940. Check the search box here for those threads (because I forget the key markers) and see if yours has them, and compare photos. Because then it can be worth a dollar-ish. Depending on condition. The reverse doubled die is the big hit, but you can see if MONTICELLO shows pronounced doubling or not.
