1966 DDO?

    Hello All,

    I found this 1966 Lincoln Penny in a box of pennies that I purchased from the bank a few days ago. There appears to be doubling in "God We Trust", and some slight doubling on the reverse as well in "America". I could be mistaken-just wanted to know your thoughts. Thank you.

    It is Die deterioration doubling, no additional value. The die being used was overused and spread, producing a doubling effects, most commonly towards the perimeter. IMO, Jim

    Thanks again, I will certainly keep that in mind. I did find another 1966 Penny in the same roll, but it wasn't in as good of shape as the one I posted.
