Do you ever give coin or coin related gifts to non-colledctors? This Christmas here are three I am giving: 1) A 2019 birth-year set to my new grandson 2) A couple of train related coins to my brother-in-law who is a train nut (the Canadian 50 cent is holographic with a toy train coming from under a Christmas tree). 3) A pair of Buffalo Nickel cuff links to my son-in-law anyone else?
I gave a Silver Christmas Round (not coin) to my secret Santa giftee. It was the Happy Holidays one with the sledding snowman and the snowflake reverse.
I gave my sister-in-law a Franklin dated her birth year. I gave her husband a Walker dated his birth year. I think both coins were either MS-63 or -64. Obviously I get along with my in-laws.
Hello and welcome I have given many patriotic coin gifts to family and friends many military members and veterans I have known, and historical coin gifts to adults and especially children who need to know the story behind them to give them reasons why they are collected. I am including some pictures. Happy Christmas and a better New Year!
ASEs make good presents. Many people don’t know what they are. Be sure they know they’re worth an ounce of silver — and not a dollar. LOL
