It's ETSY. Coin related items are usually outrageously priced by unscrupulous sellers. To answer your question, probably not. All it takes is one uninformed buyer with more money than common sense, and they make money.

It's possible, someone paid $120,000 for a banana taped to a wall...

Well, they did use “SUPER RARE”. Isn’t that a numismatically correct acronym?

Can't wait for that dime struck on a feeder finger to appear, be sold, and he leaves the country.

At those prices I can either support my 2 biggest habits, coins and rocks or live decently for a year.

If these prices are real I am now worth millions.

Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble but the prices are totally bogus. With what I have, if those prices were real, I'd have well over 10 million.

I’ve got it! I’ll tape a Lincoln cent to a canvas with duct tape and price it a $125,000 then list it on ETSY. I’ll be rich YEA ME!

Etsy is an example of the stupid looking for the more-stupid.

The prices are real (as in they are actually asking those prices) but there aren't any sales, I hope.

I think the numismatic term you are thinking of is - Hella Rare

The thing I hate most about Etsy... "Only 1 available and it's in 2 people's carts" Yeah, like two people are going to put a common date $4500 Canadian Nickel in their cart.
