Any opinions on if this is a close AM?

    I got this in change the other day. It's a DDO and maybe a DDR. If it is, from what I've read, it's rare.

    It is neither a DDO or DDR nor is it a close AM.

    These are mechanically doubled?

    #1 - Still no
    #2 - Your pictures are too blurry to really see anything anyways
    #3 - When you are seeing "doubling" on both sides of the coin, odds are it isn't a doubled die
    #4 - Check out die deterioration doubling or split plate doubling. That is most likely your culprit.

    Thanks for the info

    Question: Dropping down from the "T" IN United is a long thin something. Is it debris that was caught in the cladding process? It doesn't come off whatever it is.
