None of my coins are really valuable, but here is were I will put pics of my foreign coins Spoiler: Cuba Obverse,
He was the country treasurer,I have some notes with his siginture and yes Che was in the inner circle from day 1.
Yeah I have a note with him on it somewhere. Just didn’t know they had coins made with him on there. Something to look for now
I purchased a 3 Peso note with him on it when I lived in London in 2004. Gotta find me a 3 Peso coin to go with it
Oh btw wish you were at the show Sunday had 5 ancient coins offered to me by a dealer for 100 bucks. No idea what they were had little time working the show to researcah
Ahh dang. We were putting up the Christmas tree and whatnot. I am curious as to what they were. $20 a piece is a bit steep for me for the stuff I normally buy...but if they were nice enough, $20 might've been a good deal.
Guess that quite a few, not just in Cuba, remember how he was killed, but regardless of the person you want to honor, you would not depict that on a coin. The portrait on that coin is based on the famous portrait by Alberto Korda; it was originally issued in 1987, with the text "Guerrillero Heroico" at the top. The one shown here was a circulation piece. Christian
Any reason why you "hide" all your images behind those spoilers? Anyway, only the top piece in that image is French. The ones that say "Helvetia" are from Switzerland. Christian
Mostly as a courtesy so when a page is loaded it doesn't stretch five miles Thanks for the clarification!
