1919 Wheat on a 2.5 Planchette

    So today I walked in our Local Coin/Jewelry Pawn Shop knowing I was gonna grab a bag of Supposedly Unsearched WHEATS:shifty: what I didn’t know is that I’d FIND what happens to be a Mind Boggler:banghead: for Me(NEWBIE):bigtears: Can I PLEASE GET SOME INSIGHT AND INPUTS ON THIS COIN MY FELLOW COIN COLLECTORS;)
    First 3 Photos are of 3 other 1919s I found in this Bag as Well:happy: from the 4th Photo on are the CENT IN QUESTION! Thanks in advanced and Hope you all are Having a GREAT NIGHT:D

    TOO many CAPS! That being said, looks like your coin was ground down to perhaps imitate a dime in a vending machine. Pretty common.

    The rim is worn away. That would make it weigh less. No need for gloves for that altered cent.

    i say the .5 grams have been worn away. Also it seems to be a bit smaller like the rim was worn off as well.

    That really was My First Thought cause it Is Pretty Smooth and Does Look like it was altered! I just had to get some input! Thanks Guys!

    The scale says 2.95 which is close enough to tolerance.
    2.98-3.24 considering how old and worn it is.

    The first two scale photos show normal coins, I assume. The third shows a cent measuring 2.53g, and it's clearly had its rim shaved.
