Sales of the 2003 Series A $2 notes beginning with "2008xxxx" has been postponed! Page 6 of the BankNote Reporter,,,,,no further information was available!! Well, I got 10 of the NY notes! RickieB
You are right about that!! Seems that the sell out occurs very quickly! I travel alot in my job and when I miss an offering by the time I get online that evening they are gone! Just like the Atlanta and Dallas offerings!! Lucky to have gotten the NY notes...I was on the computer at 12:00 noon RickieB
Spock.... How's it going?? I submitted your information, thought I would let you know. Good luck and let me know if you get a call.... Hey let's trade a NY for a Dallas if ya want to that is.... ;>) RickieB
hi rickey, no other info was OFFERED, however, info is available: the sales were discontinued because the systems affected by the outage(caused by the flood of internet orders for the dallas note) were NOT LIMITED to the Treasury's phone and computer systems, it had "wide-spread" outages in various OTHER governmental systems...... thus the IMMEDIATE postponment of ANY limited edition items until things can be worked out:computer: but you didn't hear it from me:smile
Hummm... So what room in the BEP did you just happen to be the fly on the wall? :smile Thats scary if it's true! Our Gov should have better systems don't you think? Thanks for the news! RickieB
thanks for the submission i am up for the trade if you can give me something ($2) in CHCU before 1930 that is
y not? i was hoping you did lol but no i wouldnt do that to you not unless you wanted to willingly be ripped off is it possible to get a nice CHCU note before 1930 for less than 100 bucks it cant be a dolalr one but any other denomination?
Prices have really started to move on Series 1928 note and earlier... In CHCU for $100...you might get lucky but do not count on it... RickieB
well just point me to one when you see a nice one i will pay more than $100 if need be but i dont want to get one without your blessings
i like it but i want a few changes the letter be replaced by number and the haziness cloudiness gone but we are on the right track.
Hey you said a 1928 note, not a 1928 "numeral note" LOL Those are much more expensive....good luck my friend....:smile RickieB
