I looked and mine are all only 5 digit, as well as stored address.

Probably because most people only know their fist five and that is all they enter when they fill out forms asking their address. Most ordering software will allow you to enter all nine but few people do it and since the Post office can usually still deliver with just the first five (if they have the rest of the address) there is usually no problem.

Address validation/verification software used by most companies automatically fill in the ZIP+4 required by the USPS to get cheaper delivery rates. One would think that a government company, like the Mint, would use such software.

Well the mint doesn't use it they use 5 digit zip codes and all of my shipping labels are 5 digits. So no point discussing should of could of would of.

They don't do 9 digit zips.

It's not out of the question for it to have been a Fedex issue when the fulfillment center generated the label. I've never been impressed with the service and they have always been the worst of them all in my area.

The mint usually gets it right. They are the largest coin dealer in the world so they're bound to make a mistake every once in awhile. If it were me I would be relentless and insisting that they owe me the coin.

CSN, a TV outfit that peddles coins, is offering ANACS 70s for $2,995. Those that came out of the Baltimore show are $4,995. Mike Mezack says he has just under 1,000 of them.

I've not read the 15 pages of this particular forum. I have bought a few coins from coin dealers like MCM and GOVMINT and after the fiasco for this coin, I have started to respond to any company that sends me an email offering this coin. My response has been to advise them that I no longer want any emails or other correspondence from them and that I believe they are thieves and they hire other thieves to buy the coins for them. I know that this country has a "free market" and as long as you don't break any laws, you can do anything you want, just check out ebay. Anyway, I bought the 2 coin set with the 2019 W Enhanced Reversed Proof Coin and the Canadian enhanced Maple Silver coin. The only difference that I see between the ASE ERPC W and the ASE ERPC S, is the mintmark. I had set up that I have enrolled the ASE S coins, which I did get one earlier, but when I called to see if it included the ASE ERPC S, I was told that it did not include that coin, which tells me the Mint decides who and when and what we can buy.

What makes them thieves? Spending over a grand on each one they buy?

Whelp, tried but no help from customer service. I even got into it with the webchat gal. She said I did it. I replied listen I've been a customer for 20 years and have always had the same address.

Her reply: Excellent!! You will receive a refund. Anything Else I can do?

I replied: Yes delete my account.

Her reply: That must be done in writing addressed to.....and be sure to fill it out properly otherwise it won't reach the destination.

I told her she was a smart A.

    She disconnected citing my comment

These types of shenanigans went on in the 'classic commemorative' era too, most notably with the Hudson Sesquicentennial.........

"Distribution of the Hudson Half Dollars was supposed to take place through the Hudson Sesquicentennial Committee via the First National Bank and Trust of Hudson at an issue price of $1 per coin. Only a few days after the start of sales, a complete sell out of the 10,000 mintage was announced. It is said that two coin dealers had purchased nearly the entire amount in a bulk transaction. These coins were soon offered by the dealers at inflated prices, since they controlled the majority of the supply."
