Can anyone assist with an ID of who this is? It’s on the reverse of an Otho sestertius.
Can’t find it on any sites or in my Sears.

Yes indeed. Some poor sod just bought this on ebay for £20.
This is why I love this place, a forum for learning, and living

Albia Terentia was Otho's mother. The coin is quite fake but I suspect it would bring about £20 as a novelty if openly advertised as what it is. Paduans of Otho with some age on them and not horrific aftercasts bring a lot more than that. Many people insist on having one to fill out their 12 Caesars sestertii set since Otho never issued any bronzes at Rome. Others use a provincial bronze but none (?) of them are sestertius size.

a long whle back i bid on a bronze Otho..then i went and tried to look it up and found out there ain't any legit ones...9_9.. then after that, i bought a 'silver' denarius..(see NGC letter, and ebay and or paypal will refund your $ if you get had)...just recently.i finally got a legit, tho chipped, Otho...i still learn something new about coins (not to mention everything else) most every day..:) Otho!! 001.JPG Otho!! 002.JPG FAUSTA NGC LETTER 005.JPG
