I have exactly one Chinese coin and would like to expand my collection as well as knowledge into that part of the ancient world. Enter me, please.
Please enter me. If I win, I promise to post full write-ups (including historical details) on both coins.
Enter me (well FFIVN) please! He is quite the fan of Chinese cash coins and picks them out of the world bins every time we go looking. Nothing he has in his current hoard is of any merit and he would love to have something truly ancient. Here is his current hoard that he asked me to take a picture of and share with everyone:
I see at least one Japanese coin in there, and the rest look to be Ming period (ie. 120-350 years old)
Yeah the one with the arches(?) in the reverse is Japanese. He got that at the Baltimore show a couple weeks ago. Like you said, the rest are relatively young compared to the ones you posted.
Enter me, I have a friend who wants to get into collecting ancient coins, but wants to focus on Chinese cash coins. These would be great for him! Very generous of you to do this too! Congrats to whoever wins, and good on you for supporting the community!
