Help with identifying an oddity.

    Hi everybody, well this isn't one of my finds but that of a friends. Neither of us know what it is apart from silver! It's tiny, just 9mms in diameter. Yep, it's pretty rough too, overall not a handsome coin, sorry mate ! Hope someone out there can put him out of his misery, you haven't failed me yet! Fantastic site !     Here's a guess mostly latching on to the cross and the P or R in your photo - Where was the coin found?

    Medieval, Low Countries, Flanders. Ypres, Anonymous, ca. 1180-1220, AR denar
    Obv: Two triangles superimposed in field
    Rev: I-P-R-A, cross with annulets in corners
