    Top 14 DDO/DDRs

    #1

    1939P-DDR

Well this is it the BIG daddy of them all! I think some of you already knew this was going to be number one. I can say I have found two of these CRH.

    What to look for

Just look at this beauty!!! This can definitely be seen with the naked eye. In conclusion

Well guys these are my top 14 I look for as for DDO/DDRs. But please keep in mind DDO/DDRs can be found for pretty much all dates for the early Jefferson series. So if you are just going through a box here and there I would check all pre 69 dates under magnification. I will make another Top 10 list of error coins I look for starting tomorrow.

Ok well it has been a interesting morning. Went to grab my phone and start my day like I always do checking up on the weather and news then BOOM! Out of nowhere my phone starts vibrating like crazy and the screen turned solid blue and turned off. I tried everything to turn it back on and it just doesnt work. From research I have done its called "The blue screen of death" which obviously doesn't sound good. Even with me trying everything I think the phone is down for the count. I have had this LG phone for 4 years and thought I would have atleast a couple more years before having to purchase another one.

This is relevant to this thread as I use this phone to take pictures and use my ipad to edit them. My ipad camera is absolutely terrible at taking close up photos of nickles.

So off I go to the store to buy another phone yet again stimulating our economy with money I dont want to spend :)

That sucks! But an early Christmas present perhaps. The silver lining? (Since War Nickels have been scarce)

Well that was quick. Went ahead and purchased a new phone today with a better camera! We will try it out tonight. Nothing fancy just a LG. Should get better quality photos of the nickels now :)

Pretty much scarce on the finds. But can't complain about a 42D :)

I don't know if I can really tell the difference in quality of the photos. Do you guys notice a increase in quality with the new phone?

Pictures look the same. Nice on the 42D. Tougher find.

After 4 boxes with nothing exciting to report, my box today was interesting. A 1929 D buffalo
    A 1943 P war nickel
    2 1969 S
    1 1970 S
1 roll worth of 2004 AU/BU . Looks like I hit another collection dump of 2004”s.
    18 1950”s
    13 1940’s
I still have 12 rolls to go from this box.

I MAY have a 2004 peace DDO. Will post that for your opinions next.

This is the coin I suspect might be the 2004 peace nickel DDO. What do you think? I can see doubling on TRUST, but not the date.
