(1983D ZINC) Lincoln Memorial Cent DDO/DDR w/Errors

    what would this error be called? die blotches around coin. noticeable on obverse and reverse. but most seen at One Cent location And on memorial building.     ...it was the second year of Zincolns...they had not “perfected” the plating process yet.
    ...and, as you saw from 2015 examples, they will never “perfect” it. Like computers, garbage in, garbage out...Spark

    Plating blisters or die chips. Either way is common and normal. Keep if you like as it was only a cent.
