Very cool, and well done! The Mercury Dime is a 1937. Thanks, these are great! F08B779B-310B-4C28-9793-72A3F7844CE7.jpeg 32D44DF6-A86F-4707-9C93-CDE316620B6F.jpeg

Nice 50/00. This is a Redbook variety which although only rated as R-2 I have somehow never owned in over 50 years of specializing in capped bust halves.

Just a couple of pick-ups from the recent Baltimore show - a little of both worlds...

Only meant to buy the unc. but I ordered the proof by mistake, and couldn't cancel it after I realized my confabulation.....such is life.

Walked out of the coin shop with too much money spent. I am a happy camper though.
1853 Arrows and Rays. Reverse is BLACK and therefore named the Midnight Sun.
    _DSC0626-horz.jpg

This Buff has some serious Pastel Toning. I couldn't capture all of its true beauty, but the whole thing is toned green with blue outlining all the details and pink on the high spots. A true beauty in hand.
    _DSC0639-horz.jpg

.... Aaaaaand I overspent myself on this one. A real beauty.

...the Indian head Eagle is one of my favorite gold coins. So I thought why not buy another one :)
