Hey, photos are too small to really see anything. What do you think you have? It looks just like a wheat cent that's been circulated for decades.

Your cent Melcha is a 1944 Lincoln this date was one of the highest mintages durring the war years. Your coin isn't a variety or an error just normal wear for a coin 70 +/- years of age. The coin value is minimal, due to condition and mintages.
And Melcha youre not crazy! Welcome to the real nut house!

I'm certain they don't come here to be insulted either. This is the OP's very first post on this forum and the very first response to her was an insult... but sure, @NOS is the jerk...

Welcome to CT. You will need to post full size photos of both sides of the coin. It's way to small and I loose it when I try to blow it larger. Please ignore the insults and ..... It's easier and most of us aren't like that.

Exactly, my good sir. Well said. The way well-established members treat new members on here is appalling. This is why I corrected the user in question as I did. Yet, I am the one who is browbeaten.

    Hello and welcome to CT.

If you are truly interested in coins, may I suggest buy a Redbook, studying it and find an issue you would like to collect.

This hunting for errors in pocket change is not a productive process. Ignore YouTube videos and “Getting Rich on Pocket Change.” They are garbage.

I just like the way she has shown the Cent in the box. No tweezers, no fingers.. That's a new one.

Welcome to CT Melcha. To take useable photos for everyone to inspect place the coin flat on a white or black background. Take photos of both sides, obverse and reverse use full images. Crop photos to show just the coin. In-large any areas of the coin in question and include description of any areas of question/concern. Put a short description in the post title. Below is an example of acceptable photos for your information. I hope this helps.

The best way to get something on the internet forums, is to ask for the exact opposite.

Nothing jumps out to me as abnormal. Appears to be a normal 1944 cent with environmental damage.
