    Please can anyone tell me if this a ddr or just machine doubling?

    IMO your coin show Die Deterioration Doubling. Read the 4th paragraph down on the following site: http://doubleddie.com/144843.html
    About doubling showing on both sides of the letters. (on PLURIBUS).

    I can see where one might initially get excited about seeing this. It's a dramatic example of DDD. You're looking in the right spot though! icon_smile_thumbsup.gif

    At the same site as Thomas posted a link to you can also read up on hub doubling which is what you want to find.

    Man! It took a hard hit on the rim. That would have been a vary good example to keep in a 2x2.
