1972 Lincoln doubling?

    1972 with some aspects on Wexler's list of varieties but not sure so I need help in catagorizing if it is a variety or if just MD. Thanks again

    Got it and thank you Rick Stachowski. I just looked at pics that show what to look for and shows the tell tailed signs. Will the date vary in appearance such as the one I posted? Compared to the two of the examples I viewed in line, the area of MDO was evident but the example didn't have such a severe spread.

    It should be the same. The Master Die had the error that was transferred to the Working dies (P/D/S). What you are describing may reflect dies state. Let the others chime in though.
