Yeah it's hard to tell in the picture but it does. It isn't a 008. The 008's have a much wider spread on the date as well. Perhaps one day I will get off my lazy butt and take pictures of the couple of 008's that I've found. Wouldn't hold my breath though
You find better stuff in your laundry then I found in all my 4 ebay rolls! <<< Goes to find ebay listing for "FS laundry". But hey, I just went to the mall to get chocolate salty balls and on the way home got Taco Bell (thank you, thank you, yes I am a bit of a health nut) and got a 1941 P nickel...I wont post it I promise....maybe.... havent looked at it closely yet.
Furry, was that a recently obtained box? I only see new rolls of Zincolns or very little actual varieties. I still need one of the 72' collection of DDO, but I forget which minor one it is. Jim
Just wanted to show you that there is still stuff out there. It has been many many many boxes with nothing worthwhile to post before I found something decent. Stay away from those garbage ebay rolls and just get some from the bank. You'd have better luck there.
Yup. I got the box from my CU on Friday. I get 2 boxes a week from them. I've recently been getting solid 19P boxes which has sucked. Since I started roll searching in 2013, I've manged to pull most of the 72P varieties except a 004.
Ill take the advice Furry. Ive got about 80 more cents to look at. Im having fun with it but not seeing any success for the type of stuff thats admired here. Im going to give it a try at the bank because Im getting bored with my supplier on ebay. ...although he did "slide" some mercury dimes at me this lat time hid in a roll...I dont think that was a mistake.
I found a 1941 DD-001 in a roll. Must have gotten by them. I havent bought alot, about $45 worth over the last year or so.
