I happened to come across a 2000 p Sacajawea “Wounded Eagle”. In the attached photos, could I get some opinions on the condition and value for it. And how much would it be certified through PCGS? Thank you guys. You guys have been very helpful in my endeavors.

I don't know, but I think that is a scratch. A wounded Eagle is more

I know I’m confused on this. I can’t tell if it’s a variety or a ding in the coin. There are no scratches on this coin.

If you are talking about the mark on the coin parallel to the body between the tail and head, it looks incuse to me, and therefore a scratch. Wait till you hear from other people.

Not a wounded eagle. Should have raised lines on the coin, since the die was scratched.

If you're referring to the mark at the center of the eagle's breast, it looks like a gouge on the coin to me.

Regardless, if it had been a true "Wounded Eagle", it still wouldn't be worth the costs for grading & attribution.

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and you would most probably lose money on the transaction.

Thank you. Now with that said, does that die gouge put any worth to it for a specific collector?

If it were a wounded eagle it would. This coin is just scratched and could be duplicated at home.
