Found this 2007 D Double Ear variety penny you can faintly see where the D suppose to be little spek mark but was not damaged no PMD here like if the D did not imprint. I don't know odd coin first time i see. What do you guys think can anybody spill more knowledge on this coins aspect please.
Looks like it was colored with a marker,I dont see any doubling. The missing "D" looks like a carbon spot or just discoloration
That is actually a Philadelphia minted Cent. No mint mark. Whatever you are seeing is something that affected that area after the Cent was struck. Coins are not imprinted. Ink is use to print paper currency only. That is definitely not a Doubled ear. How do I know this you ask? 34 years specializing in Mint Errors.
I think you meant, Coins are not printed. Coins are Imprinted. Paper currency is Printed. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/imprinted
Oops.. Thanks buddy. The definition will now be imprinted into my memory bank! (I didn't have my coffee yet earlier today)
1) Your coin is not "missing" a D. It is a Philly minted cent 2) I see zero evidence of a doubled ear 3) Your photos leave lots to be desired. a) your colors are over-saturated. Not sure if you tweaked the images before posting but next time, you shouldn't mess with them. b) Images should be taken from directly above the coin. Not all these angles. Your coin is not a fat chick who is trying to look slimmer by taking pictues at weird angles. 4) As others have already said, coins are "minted" not "imprinted"
Coins are minted. Paper bills are printed. Nothing special on your coin. The color is nice but that's probably just the light which you should avoid.
I did not mess with the light or try to tamper with the pictures at all it was just the lighting that was in the room where I was at it's a grow light which has LED color lights I tried using my phone light to fix it but it didn't work. Here are a few better pictures of the coin but to the preplies/posts I see it's nothing special..
