I just ran across some Peace dollars on ebay, graded by NGC only as Brilliant Uncirculated. How would you get them to grade coins like that and why would you? Or do you not have a choice? I don't get it.

They do it for people who submit coins in large bulk and charge them less for it.

I seem to remember some of the TV coinsleezmen selling BU graded coins a while back.

Is the coin from the Bennion Collection? Most of the BU graded coins I have seen have been from that Collection.

Ahhh yes, the Benny Binion hoard of silver dollars. Long poker story. He died for those coins !!

Could also be battle creek collection, if they're the toned ones.

Wow. BU for a grade? What's next, "NGC - Shiny"?
