I can only dream of finding a dump like this during my 500 box challenge. Absolutely insane finds! Video was today from Pamscoins
Anybody care to summarize for someone who doesn't want to waste 20 minutes watching a YouTuber gloat in exhausting detail?
Yes, in most cases this is true. Been watching her for years and I believe her. She has a small channel and has never tried click baiting to improve her sub count like a lot of people do. So in my opinion it's legit.
See, I appreciate what you said, and of course it's not 100% but this ^^^^ just supports my previous post.
In my many years of CRH I have found dumps like this. They are rare but do exist. I have found over a roll of silver wars and a couple of full rolls of buffalos in a box of customer wrapped nickels. But I can definitely see your point
Well, lots of garbage coins but there was some notable items as detailed above. The best of the lot: 1943 double eye DDO in MS condition.
Assuming this is a true occurrence. I think if someone runs into a whole pile of silver nickels, proofs and 1950-D's then most likely they were stolen and dumped at face value, and your friend should put a little effort into finding the true owner, instead of accepting it as a win fall.
Well she is not my friend just somebody I enjoy watching. I feel you are a bit nippy about the video and are turning something positive to a negative Nancy. I have found rolls of Franklin halves at a bank years ago. They were dropped off by a kid who's dad had left it to him. The tellers at Chase informed him he had silver! His reply was "I don't care I don't want them". I know this story well because the tellers held onto 5 rolls of halves for me. They knew exactly what they had but because I am always kind to them and bring cookies and treats they gave me over $500 worth of silver at face. Moral of the story is don't just assume something is automatically stolen. Collection dumps are found all the time in the wild. Stay positive my friend
I think the back story is important. If it’s on the up-and-up then we should be satisfied. But many times the coin dumps are because the ‘depositor’ would rather not have their silver and their license in the same photo evidence.
A quick internet query revealed a $100 box of nickels contains 50 rolls of 40 nickels each...(2000 coins)...Spark
No harm, no foul. I figured from your avatar that you had your hands full...precious cargo my friend...Spark
