I am kinda snowed out (December weather in November) So, instead of making $$$$, I am spending it... Papal States AV Mezzo Scudo d'oro (1717) ANNO XVII Roma Mint Pope Clemente XI (Gian Francesco Albani) 1700-21 16mm. 1.67g. .986 FDC
I wish I was more familiar with the coin, however I used have the "corvette black book" memorized, is your avatar a 1967? Beautiful car's and IMO the most desirable of all the classic years.
Yes, I agree. The 67 is my fav. car too. I have a new one....but will sell that to put towards a 427/400HP model like in photo.
Theres a pretty nice one on the bay Ive been eyeing... you might like it too! https://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Chevrolet-Corvette-427/264517157991?hash=item3d96738467:g:stwAAOSw6UlchpfB
Gorgeous! I need to have the car equiped with 2 speed powerglide trans., I never learned how to master the standard trans. I saw a few frame off restored 427-390HP models with powerglide. All where 120K for perfect car (98 points+) John
Great coin! The Vette ain't to bad either. I had to settle for a 69 Mustang convertible I purchased used in early 71 for $1500. Dumbest thing I ever did was sell it. It was purchased in Detroit from a ford dealer on the west side on Telegraph Rd. The odometer was rolled back to 0 miles and I got a one year new car warranty with it. I worked in my Dad's gas station on the west side of Detroit and was very into muscle cars and other vehicles in that very raucus car time. I'm quite sure it came from the Glass House in Dearborn as it had some rather interesting features not on standard issues. Sported ad Cleveland block. Always had a devil of a time pulling the plugs as they were hard to get to. Had to use AC plugs, it didn't like Champions, "AKA Chumps at all.
