Now this is how I like my boxes! A very fun hunt with some nice finds. The second buffalo has a "S" mint mark but unfortunately the date is not visible. If we get a full roll of dateless buffalos I might just make a post extracting the dates from them. The second toned one is nice, I guess Jefferson decided to be Golddust from the early 90s WWF for Halloween!

2-Buffalos 1936 Philadelphia and a Dateless San Fran
    2-Errors 1984D Mont-Ello and a 2006 Philadelphia Big Die Chip
    1-Proof 2000
    1-1938 Philadelphia
    1-1939 Philadelphia
    2-Toners
    1-Foreign 1982 Canada
    8-Common 40s
    12-Common 50s
    1-2009D

You are reading my mind!! I was hinting at the 'reveal' as a spin on your 500 box challenge. Perhaps a thread on a few of the interesting side stories you are bound to generate from this challenge. I was going to offer to buy your dateless finds in order to do the reveal if it wasn't your intention to do so...but you seem to be thinking like me (which could be scary).

Looks like things are staying steady. 2 silvers and a 42D. A lot more 40s than 50s which is a little weird.

    1-1942D
    1-1951D
    1-1939 Philadelphia
    2-AU/BU 1957 Philadelphia and a 1970D
    1-Foreign 1982 Canada
    12-Common 40s
    7-Common 50s

I found a roasted shield nickel once a few years ago.

Roasted or not I would be amazingly surprised if I ever pull one! In All my years I have never pulled a Shield out of a machined wrapped roll.

Yes, a bit of a swing. Light side for the 40s and higher numbers for the 50s. Next box - buffalo!!
