sixbid just serves as a gateway to various auction firms. Each firm accessed through their site needs to be individually evaluated.

The only firm currently on their home page that I am familiar with is Harlan J. Berk, whose service and prices i have always found to be excellent.

    2 things

one i have used sixbid with great success
second its like ebay in the sense they dont sell the goods the auction houses you submit the bids to sell the goods. so do your research before you bid and just as an FYI their pics suck :)

I find there bidding system very strange, i bidded and it said i will get a confirmation from the firm aswell but no sign of confirmation in 4 days.. they have this stone age bidding system which i am sure i can make better with DreamweaverMX...

Never used it, but I have used propertyroom.com It is an outlet of last resort for police agencies. Recovered property the has been unclaimed.

/They ocassionally use "stock photos" and so-so descriptions. Like anything else - Buyer beware.

oh the auction houses get the bids but dont bother about responding back. i would forward that email to the auction house and ask for a confirmation :)
