ARRGHhh... We left the house for a couple of hours (shopping trip) and upon returning there was one of those slips on the door saying that nobody was around to sign for an insured item (the coin) and that they would try again tomorrow. I missed deliver by 10 minutes. Darn-it, we ran into town early for the express reason that the mail normally doesn't run this early. Drats... Tomorrow For Sure Ben
Ben, you know how to keep everyone in suspense, LOL. I'll look forward to seeing it tomorrow. :thumb: Phoenix
Well Team, here it is (finally, picked it up this AM) and after taking some quick pics I think it's closer to 20 than 15 as far as grade goes. The Overton Variety is O-107, R-2. Warning Big Pics... Take Care Ben
I feel the vortex sucking me in... NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo!!! I will not start collecting these!!!! I cannot!!!!! ...(grunt)must ...(grunt)resist!!!!!
Yes, it looks like it. An old (60s or so) cleaning but the coin is starting to retone due to acid rain and global temperature change. Ben
Give it up - do not resist the force. I am awaiting my next one now - can't wait for it to arrive. Nice coin Ben!
Mike: I tried to resist years ago. Today, I pack my Overton's in the car trunk whenever I go anywhere. May the force be with you. (Ben: Imagine if he saw a Draped Bustie?) Frank
Frank: I have not only seen a few draped busties, but I have sold one!!! They are WAAAAAY beyond my means, whereas these are only completely beyond my means. LMAO Noodle
