This is a beautiful coin. It is obvious that something's going on. I'll start by pointing out the partial missing clad layer, there is also an incused mark going from left of trust along the bottom edge of "in God we" turning towards top of head and looping back up the forehead to the rim. It looks like a string. There are also pieces of metal in various places of the obverse field. One of which appears to be a dropped ear. The reverse has a little missing clad layer.

My Friend.. Nickels do not have a clad layer. They're solid Cupro-Nickel from front to back.

Cupronickel is copper and nickel with iron and manganese.

You have just confirmed what I said. I don't have to hear from you. This site can't approve of your behavior as a well-known member. You are not worth it.

Your first post says alot to me. Cupro-nickel is 75% copper and 25% nickel, so it is impossible for it to be cupro-nickel all the way through. Meaning: having the nickel color. You either did not know that or you tried to deceive me.

I agree with paddyman98. First you coin is normal. The mark at the word “trust” is damage. Not missing clad layers and just has a lot of post mint damage. Just to be blunt Just a beat up 2019 p nickel!!!

You have about 40 different members that are senior coin collectors and make a true living off of there knowledge of coins looking at this thread. Do you really think you know more!! We have all been seeing your post!! Not just one guy that you don’t agree with!! If I have an error of any sort. Paddy is the guy for the truth. Obviously you haven’t seen his collection. And maybe he comes off wrong sometimes but his words are short and sweet. It is what it is. He and other senior members are 100% correct all the time, including yours now!
