River of No Return West Point Quarters Found

Picked up 2 boxes of quarters today and was surprised to find these:

Not sure if I should submit to PCGS or not. I spoke to a lady on the phone and she said they have submissions already but they are not eligible for the $2000 prize since they are before the official mint release date. The quarters would need to show up there on Monday, 04 November or later to qualify for the prize.

Nice! How many rolls did you search to get 7?

 

They were out of 2 boxes but only maybe 10 rolls of new quarters were mixed in.

 

That's great! I'm going to stop by a BofA or Wells Fargo branch Monday and see if I can get lucky.

Thanks. I have managed to get all of them for me an my kids (4 of each design) except the Missions. I have only found a handful of Mission P's and zero W's.

 

I want one!!!! Aaaahhhhh. Can’t wait to snag one of those guys!

 

I like the design. I have to say though, my favorite design of the year is the Missions.

Wow Furry congrats. Sounds like the first discoveries will be on PCGS doorstep when they open Mon morning. I've gone through 3 boxes and doing 3 more this week. The quarter quest may already be over.

 

Yeah. I opted to not send them in. I don't have the extra disposable income. I started off just trying to get one of each for me and the kids and that's all I'm going to do. As soon as I find, or trade for, my 4 Missions "W"s, I am done with searching quarters.
