Die crack? Stamp through? Die clash? 1973 Lincoln Rev.

    Hey thanks. I appreciate you giving your time to look at my coin. I'm happy that I found something unique The bar has the same amount of wear and the same color and luster. Since It is raised and not incuse It must be a die gouge.. I've only searched about a box and a half of cents. My last box had 10 rolls of new 2013.cents that are still wrapped. I don't know if I want to bother looking through them or just spend them. Funny thing is I found this coin in pocket change not in the rolls from the bank.

    Hey I have a 1996 qauter it just like the 1997 qauyer on line that looks like it's been painted there going 15,000 but my looks good on front then on back it's got green blue pink and it's 1996 p mint can someone tell me some history on it

    I know! Me too. I start reading them and then realize the date. A couple of member was talking a couple of days ago about resurrecting of threads. But I think that might get really confusing

    As others have indicated, this is a die gouge or linear die dent. A nice find, although its value is modest.
