I was taking a closer look at this nickel as I was going through pocket change. In the word liberty on the Obv. I noticed the e and t having something different going on. Would this be called a cud or some type of damage. Please she's some light on this.

A cud is a break that appears along the rim and extends into the field. Those are small die chips or as some people say, interior die breaks. These don't add any value to the coin. Chris
