Lets see: XF= $30 cleaned, so net VF =$27. So, retail about $20, tops. Oh, and welcome to the forum. [sorry about the above news, but it's my opinion for what it is worth. Crummy third party graders are just selling junk, hopefully you did not purchase it yet. If you are in doubt, look at the Coin World logo on the bottom left of the holder, not a slab, just a holder. the logo is for Coin World. these can be purchased from them anytime.]
No I did not purchase the coin, I use to be an avid collector but losing my job in 2003 cost me my collection but saved my home. I just happen to run up on this and it seemed to good to be true.
Sorry to hear about the job, man. That sucks. As you said "it seemed to good to be true" then generally it is.
Treashunt nailed it and glad you didn't bite. Welcome to the forum by the way. Hope your job situation is better as well. If you're just getting back into the loop ask a lot of questions. You'll see a LOT of high grades on Overstock and Ebay. Abon runs rampant on Overstock and Ebay. All SGS slabs. 99.9% of the time over graded garbage. Those that know me here will think I'm being nice with giving them the .1% that actually may be graded correctly. clembo
Frank, did you see the cleaning in the posted picture? If so, your eyes are a whole bunch better than mine. I had to download and enlarge it quite a bit in order to spot the cleaning.
