EDIT!! Sorry, his name is actually John Jencek I met him at the Long Beach show, and he seems like a really nice guy and very knowledgeable. Do any of you guys have any experience with him? Thanks monkeyman
Yes, I buy Roman Imperial coins from John. He is indeed a very nice person with an excellent reputation. In addition to selling at shows, he maintains an online Vcoins store. James
Haha spock! I know, see there's this girl who runs track named christine babcock, and she just won state this weekend, so I was reading an article about that while typing this thread... Sigh, Anyway, john gave my friend and I one coin each at long beach, and told us to identify it, then email him with the answer. Now I'm thinking about setting up a deal with himm where he sends me one coin every week to identify, not for free, I thought this would be a great way for me to have fun with ancient coins, and build up a nice sized collection of them Let me know what you think about that Also thanks for your comments about him as well! Monkeyman
if you keep up witht he hobby someday you will hae a great collection most of your ideas are out of the box and thats good. its always to look at his collection see what you like and have him send you that coin instead of him send ing you one coin every week. You should get what you like rather than learn tolike what you get.
