Clembo is in the air, headed back to Chicago. Took him to Apache lake today and on the Apache Trail ( google it ) . I am headed for the couch and some much needed rest.

1031 miles in 3 days made for a hectic trip, but we sure made the most out of his time here. I will be headed back to Long Beach in the fall for sure.

Dan will post more pics when he gets home, most of the last few good ones are on his camera.

Sorry Mike, the trip out to the lake today cost us too much time, I had to have him at the airport in time, we got a late start out this morning.

Oh yeah....This is off topic, but part of our trip to CA.

This hot sauce is the guiness book of world record hottest pepper.

Hottest sauce in the world without " extract " , a chemical additive. This is just peppers and nothing else in the bottle. I did this video for another site, taste the fear on which I am a regular.

The Bhut Jolokia, beat out the Red Savina Habanero in 2007 for the guiness book, with over 1,000,000 scoville heat units ( Jalapeno is about 10,000 ) and the Red Savina has about 550,000. Tobasco sauce is about 2500.

    Clembo's home

I'm finally back at the house. Got here about half an hour ago.

1:15 now so struggle with the math.

Yes, I DO snore but Jack also forgot to mention that I got up before him every day. EVEN after the first day when I had been up for 20 hours. Jack does deserve a ton of credit for doing all the driving.

I plan on snoring for several hours tonight.

Sorry I didn't meet you Magman but we were cutting it close. Had an additional delay when I got frisked at the airport in Phoenix. That was cool.
Good metal detectors I'll tell you. Not a strip search but amusing. Had to take off my belt, they x-rayed my wallet.

It was a great time folks. Got to meet some people, visited two states I've never been in and should be signing a movie contract any day now.

Gonna try and get some pics uploaded in the next day or so.

That picture is great, it really shows the thrill of victory after you great buys at the show. Is that a twenty dollar gold seal in your hand? And an 1885 three cent nickel in the other.

Roosevelt. 1906, built with steam engines and mule-train. Large Cents were still in circulation in places.

Hoover is the Lake Mead dam between AZ and Nevada.

Roosevelt Dam powers the entire Phoenix area ( I pay my electric bill to SRP, the Salt River Project ), it dammed the Salt River and created Apache Lake, my website namesake and inspiration. Apache Trail, Apache Junction, Apache Lake, Dan has seen them all now.

Clembo will tell you about the scenery, the Saguaro pics speak for themselves. It's beautiful country. It's the West. It's America.
