I am fighting cost a bit. It seems to cost $5 to refill the box one way. My city of 300,000 will support about a box every 4 days at $5.00 for wrappers. After that, wrappers would need to be ordered. The other alternative is the coineater at $10.00.

The realistic goals seem to be a war silver, V, a few oldies, and a good time for about $12.00. Bottom line.

Yea, a few foriegn, qualty up grades, possble errors.....

@Andygator My bank(s) give me coin wrappers whenever I ask for free. The coineaters (coinstar?) Now have a gift card option for which you get face value for your dump. Lowes , Home Depot, Applebees and Starbucks are just a few of the choices here. One of my banks has a coin counting machine in the lobby.....dump them in, get ticket for amount and deposit it. Best part is I don't have to reroll anymore.

Andy - go online and buy wrappers in bulk. Least expensive approach and doesn’t burden the bank.

What’s up with that 52-S?! Looks like a major planchette flaw or PMD?

I search nickel boxes a couple times a week usually the average down here in Louisiana is 1 war nickle a box and maby a buffalo and a bunch of common 50s, and 40s, good luck with future boxes!

Reasonably consistent. The bigger difference is associated with MM versions of the same 40s and 50s finds. Quantities seem pretty comparable. Seems Texas has a better influx of Denver coins while here in Connecticut we get more Philly coins. Location location location. Always envious of others ‘routine’ coins.

Ugh... Box was slim pickings until the 98th roll and at the end a buffalo shows up. But this was it for this box. Hopefully things will pick up.

I think the SF mint was shut down from 1953-1968. So any Business strikes will be from before 1953 and after 1968.....then only until 1975 when they started doing Proofs only.

Another light find box but with one silver I can't complain. The die chip error is always nice when the chip is that large.
