    No way of knowing for sure Bill - as of yet - I don't know what Mr. Snow's opinion on the subject is. But as I said in the post above - I can't see him doing anything without first consulting Congress.

    Of course he could if he wanted to. But the question is - will he ? But as I said - that is not likely. He will be new to the post - and as such he will not want to make waves. Especially after his predecessor already comitted to consulting with Congress & the President.

    That is why it is important that the Congress and the President are aware of the opinions of the people who voted them into office. And if everybody just sits on their hands and does not say anything - then the politicians will just do what they want - and NOT what WE want.

    When Gerald Ford became president, it was all pretty much set up in advance on how it would work. Agnew was gone. Nixon was going to resign. They chose Ford inadvance. One commentator said that Ford was the best choice because his many years in the House showed that he knew that "in order to get along, you have to go along."

    That pretty much defines the political process in any time and place. Sometimes it gets tricky knowing whom to go along with -- revolutions, invasions, and such are so stressful for everyone. But basically, if you just do what most of the loudest people seem to want, you will do OK and be a real "team player."

    i was split on this poll. sba's, i like them, but they are old and not it. a dollar coin would save us lots because it would out last the bill. i am split.

    If only he would have been a little more specific, and requested the changes to actually be appealing to the public. :D

    I voted to get rid of the $1 bill.
    Use $1 coins and $2 bills.

    Otherwise I would only be for a redesign of the dime.
    It's time in spite of all the good things FDR did for this country.

    Scary part is there were thousands of others I posted in many other forums before CT ever existed - let alone you.

    'Course now if Frank or Ken shows up they'll be telling ya you can find some carved in stone in the eastern Mediterranean area. :oldman:

    That’s what they do in Portland. Anyone with $2 bills has either been there or at the horse track they’re very unpopular here as to the attribution to the strip club

    I personally think the coin designs als suck. Back to lady liberty. If you have to put a real person on them how about our current First Lady. No politics here she’s just plain hot best there’s been she got Jackie-o beat
