Ladies, Gentleman, and fellow Jesters i now give you a rare beauty of a coin. although its caced it might be suitable for an upgrade or not but it is the second last coin from before my moratorium. its also my first coin in my collection with the ugly green sticker. it is now bound and gagged give me a break and lets just enjoy the coin. i hope you like it as much as i do. Please see i will still buy the 1860 the day i find it

its in the top 105 pieces but i think this should bean easy 66 making it into the top 30 charts but i am not sending it to those guys and blowing money on it

 

oh i forgot to mention i just need one more dollar to finish my type collection and no i am not giving this coin a name and before anyone asks i am not cracking this out of the slab

Hope you bought the coin for the coin and not the holder, which to me is practically meaningless. I do like the close up shots of the coin, sans that plastic tomb.

Looks like machine doubling on the reverse. Maybe that is why it only got a 65. Very nice coin Spock!

 

Thats the sad story of the central state show or maybe the auction before the damn proxy thing just would not work and i watches in disbeleif as a great coin ended cheaply and i couldnt buy it

Sorry Spock1, I will not say you suck. I like the coin, those Princess coins are some of my favourite in the gold series, I recently got an 1878 $3, but I really really want an 1889 since the mintage was lower, ie 81K vs. 4K, and also want an 1889 Princess $1 and the 3¢ in BU. 1889 was the last year of those three denominations, so interesting. I have a rose coloured 1862 $1, but I like yours just a wee bit betters than mine.
