Please feel free to comment on this article from Coin World's Facebook page. Although it shows a photo of one of the proposed reverse designs for the quarter it could be superseded by a proposal before Congress. https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-c...XOo8J2xGlL3mx5t2kAYjVxcJOpF9m92jIP1cutf-dSbfw
I’m liking the Valley Forge design, as opposed to more dreadful designs (Effigy Mounds) seen already with the ATB series. I would keep one from each mint that kicks them out. Don’t get me wrong, the ATB series started off great...Hot Springs, Gettysburg...and later, El Yunque (I’ve hiked to the waterfall with my son in 2005)...but the more recent ones have some duds...Spark
I like the fact that they are going to use the original obverse design. The rendition of the reverse is okay but nothing special. Below is my favorite, a more classic looking design and I like classic designs for our coinage. Reed
I do like this design better myself so the Mint will never use it. This design shouts LIBERTY and FREEDOM.
In the provided link it states that "All of the proposed designs can be found on Coin World's Facebook page online". I checked their Facebook page and can't find images of the proposed designs. If anyone can locate where they are, would you kindly provide a link where they can be seen. Thank you.
Scroll down a bit and click on see all when you see the drawings https://m.facebook.com/CoinWorld/photos Reed.
I think CCAC's recommended design will prevail but some legislation will pass resulting a new circulating design shortly thereafter. I'm not crazy about any of the current proposals being tossed around.
A new article in Coin World states that the CFA has recommended the same design as the CCAC. I agree with @352sdeer and @Collecting Nut that this design would have been much better https://www.facebook.com/CoinWorld/photos/a.10150106611532168/10155694523012168/?type=3&theater
