It seems both Bust half attribution guides at www.coinzip.com and http://maibockaddict.com/ are offline. Maybe this is due to copyright issues? I am just guessing... does anybody know? @okbustchaser @Seattlite86 @coinzip thanks, Mike PS: I bought all the Books but the online resources are handy when I am not at home.
I don't know that it is related, but Heritage was down most of the weekend as well due to a malware attack. From Stewart Huckaby of Heritage... Heritage would like to thank everyone for their patience as we work to restore our website. We apologize for any inconvenience. We have confirmed that we were a victim of a malware attack. Please be aware that client financial information (e.g. credit card, bank account info, etc.) is maintained by a third-party provider and is thus not affected. We expect to be back online soon. All currently affected auctions will be extended or rescheduled, and we will notify everyone accordingly. More updates soon.
The web site wasn’t offline, it’s only the attribution guide. It can’t be a coincidence that both guides disappear around the same time...
To my understanding Alan removed the bust guide a few months back. I'm now quite sure why...knowing Alan if something wasn't kosher he fit it or delete it.
I guess I'm not sure what you're referring to, then. Are you not referring to the threads here? : http://coinzip.proboards.com/board/238/capped-bust-half-dollars
No, I was referring to the Bust half attribution guide. Now it’s back online. e.g. Bust half varieties for 1813: http://maibockaddict.com/1813-capped-bust-half-dollars
