I can't believe what I got in change today. A 1964 D quarter not only is it the first time I've gotten silver in my life but it looks like it's got doubling on IGWT and it's got notches on the N and the R so not machine doubling I hope. Tell me what you think everyone I'm looking forward to what everyone thinks even if yo think I'm wrong.

I don't see any doubling. It looks like die deterioration to me.

I'll try to get some better pictures when the sun's out. You couldn't even see the notches on the N and the R?

I've compared it to known ones in both Wexler's and Varietyvista and there are a couple it might be but it's a little worn plus it could be a run after a die polishing like the DDR penny I found. I'm going to try to get better pictures tomorrow during the day when I have better light I'll post them when I do. Thank you to everyone for your interest and advise.

I don't see any notching at all, but I like your "Learning something new everyday" attitude.

Why is it when someone says they don't see any doubling, the poster automatically thinks getting a suntan will help?

I've been family since probably before you were born. I remember when it was just ICP. One of my favorite songs is night of the chainsaw probably because my name is Chuck it's even part of my email address chainsawjuggalo. I also like Boondox probably because I'm also into hic hop. Hard to tell I'm in my 50s with my music presence. I'm hard of hearing today because of speed metal.

LOL. ....before I was born ??? LOL Not likely. I know ICP because, for a while, my daughter and her friends were all juggalos, and my daughter just turned 34.
To put my music years in perspective, have you heard of Led Zeppelin ? Of course you have. I was at the very first Zeppelin concert in Houston, Texas at the Hofheinz Pavillion. So long ago I don't even remember the date. Google it and find out. While you're googlin', google the Celebration of Life Music Festival held in Louisiana on the banks of the Atchafalaya River. I was there, as the personal guest of the Screaming' Mariahs MC out of New Orleans , La. Now THAT would have been about YOUR birthdate.
And.... While you're on the net, check out my music page at reverbnation.com/hookmanbrown
That's not me in the videos, but I wrote all the songs. Listen to the songs, leave a comment and "fan" the page.

BTW, I could tell you're a young'un........and your still learning' something' new ev'ry day !!

I'm 54 but that doesn't put it exactly right as to my actual age because you have to go by San Bernardino years which are 2 to 1 so physically mentally and emotionally I'm 108. And as for learning something new every day we'll when I was told when I was a young'un that the day you stop learning is the day you die. Also there is no need for anymore responses to this or any of the other posts I've made because apparently I'm to much of a problem because I have to many questions so I'm outta here before I get into it with anyone over the problem of how much I need to learn and the fact that if people have an issues with answering questions because they find it a pain then how in my book they shouldn't bother responding to them which is unfortunate because I thought I finally found a forum where I wouldn't be treated like a pest and a moron. So bye bye and buy bonds.
P.S. to the powers that be feel free to delete this and all my previous posts and don't worry I won't be back and won't be bothering anyone here with my questions anymore.

Where did you get the idea that you are bothering someone? Your questions have all been welcomed and responded to. I don't know anyone who thinks you're a pest or a moron or anything else detrimental.
The thing is, around here, you have to have thick skin. People will always respond to your posts. Some will respond in their own "persnickety" way. Just like you have your own personality, and I have my own personality, and every member here has their own personality, each person is going to respond, post, answer questions, ask questions, and everything else, in THEIR own way.
Everyone here is themselves, and we all want you to be yourself. The longer you hang here and participate, the more you will get used to everyone and their ways, and the more they will get used to you.

So, with all that said, I'm gonna tell you something STRAIGHT UP.

No one is going to beg you to stay. We want you as a member, but no one is going to beg you to stay. Period.
It was a little rough for me at first also, but once I stuck it out and got used to it, I'm just fine.

Up above you stated that you are 54 yrs old. That means you are a MAN.
So be a man, and stick it out. Keep posting, keep learning about coins because the more you learn and know about coins, currency, tokens, etc. , the more fun you will have, and the more you will be accepted into the site.

You know I've said several times that I like that "Learning Something New Everyday " thing you write.
Here's another one and it rhymes " Don't Run, Have Fun ".

    Thanks Jug,

    Frank

I glad that no one asked me to stay if they did I wouldn't be. Funny thing is the whole problem was... You know your right time to man up I don't want to ruin anyone's experience here by continuing to air dirty laundry. In fact do you know if it's possible for me to remove a post I've made I'd rather what I meant to be my trying to share something I found interesting to possibly make someone new here to think negatively about cointalk or the people here simply because 2 people who were obviously having a bad day (myself being one of them) ended up acting like a couple of butt heads by butting heads over a misunderstanding. If yoo do and could let me know I'd appreciate it. Also I want to thank you and everyone one else here for all the help and great advice. I never mentioned it before but my name is Chuck and thanks again Frank you're good people.

No Posts can be removed by anyone except the moderators, and they DO NOT remove posts by request. If you post something that you are not supposed to post, then they will certainly remove it, AND give you a warning about following the rules. Have you read the rules yet?
I wouldn't worry about anything in the past. If you haven't heard anything about anything yet, then don't worry.
Just move forward with coins, currency, tokens, etc.. That's what this site is all about. NOT drama.
Post some pix of coins and ask some questions. There's actually some forum threads available to discuss things other than coins. Just try to always remember to post your pix or questions in the appropriate forum.

If you ever need help from, or want to talk to, a particular person, you can "call" them by writing their avatar name like this : @Hookman or @Juggalo

Thanks Jugg, I think everything's going to work out fine.
