I need a professional opinion on this error coin for sale on eBay. I think the seller is cutting him or herself short. I want to offer the seller more than they are asking. First, I need a knowledgeable coin video aficionado to confirm this valuable error. Please don't buy this out from under me if I provide the link. https://www.ebay.com/itm/153691103919?ViewItem=&item=153691103919
If I had $300 to bid on a coin. Interesting though if you are correct....seller must need the dough quick! Curious to see what the pros here say.
Brockage? I'm no expect but judging from his other listings, I don't think so. I could sand blast something like that. Unless it was slabbed I wouldn't touch it.
I'd forget and avoid this coin. To easy to create this error in my workshop. I'd only buy this coin if it was graded and slabbed by a reputable TPG.
I was looking thru the seller's other unique offerings. He also has a PR-62 DCAM 1983-s Lincoln (with gold shield) for sale. So, they spent $40 to certify a $1 coin nobody will ever purchase. ...kind of interesting.
No ....I only report Jerks like yourself ,who unfortunately come in here daily ,and spout crap about numismatics ,and other members which you know little or nothing about. You think you have a audience ...well you do ....as its hard for us members to believe that there is someone out there so stupid that they don't realize just how much a horses ass they truly are! The information you post is anything but correct.....and 90% of the coins you post are damaged or detailed...... so enlighten us some more..with everything you don't know about this hobby. Hey gang heads up....the class clown is ready to make us laugh some more!
This took a couple reads to realize you were joking about the coin and the YouTube comments. Next time a sarcasm signifier or emoji to present humor would be greatly appreciated. I hope no one bids on this coin and loses out on $300. @Islander80-83 please tread a bit more professionally on here. I know you to be a decent man, but this page does not show you at your best. This is fraud and I have reported this seller. I see it as our unofficial responsibility to ensure people are not duped by these kinds of people. A bad purchase like this could turn away a potential collector, or multiple people. It's dishonest and hurts our hobby. It's fine if you don't see it as your duty to report fraudulent listings, but I see no reason to make fun of those who choose to use their numismatic knowledge for the betterment of others and protect our hobby. I hope in the future, that you'll reconsider using someone else's thread as an opportunity to air your grievances and take cheap jobs at others. That kind of showing is exactly why I've moved away from US coins. I hardly see this kind of behavior in the World or Ancient forums.
