Nice coin. Not an expert on LRB's. I never understood the break from common sense convention about that AE 1, AE2, description. Normally I like to attribute the diameter in millimeters, so there is no question as to approx size (yeah, I get that coins can be oblong, oval, etc.) as well as its weight in grams. For some reason, LRB's have to have that odd classification, even though they do not know the ancient NAMES of those denomination! Hi @Colby J. , I read "D N VALENS – P F AVG" on the obverse of your coin and thus would rather search here. The mintmark looks indecipherable on your pictures. Maybe you can make it out it in hand?
