Found an old damaged coin

I found a really old coin and i checked online to see what it was it looks like a Standing Liberty (1917-1930) one but has no year on it i barely can read anything on it. I have no clue about coins but would something like this be worth anything or a useless piece of metal?

If you can't identify the date & mintmark , the coin is worth at most a couple of dollars .

A silver one? Just about anyone, at or below melt value.

 

It is a piece of bullion. Just worth the value of silver contained in the coin.

Who would buy it? Most jewelers or coin shops.
